Description of Services: Consultative specialty endocrine care * outpatient clinics at Kingston General and Hotel Dieu * consultative services in the investigation and management of patients with a variety of endocrinology and metabolism diseases including:
  • diabetes mellitus (types 1, 2 and gestational)
  • hypoglycemia
  • lipid and calcium disorders
  • hypertension
  • obesity
  • disorders of the pituitary & and thyroid (including thyroid cancer)
  • adrenal diseases
  • gonadal diseases including male reproductive disorders and the andropause
