Description of Services: Temporary relief for caregivers of older adults with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias * registered nurses help with the activities of daily living in the client's home * weekend respite program, which is available to qualifying clients of adult day program and in-home respite programs
Requirements
Fees: In Home Respite Rate: Funded by Ontario Health (East): $7.50 hourly up to eight hours per week * additional time is paid privately - $22 hourly * subsidies are available
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Adults with memory impairments (Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias) living in the community, and their family caregivers
Application: Call * in-home assessment required for service
